1. What tyre pressures are needed.

This varies from manufacturer and personal choice. A good starting point is:

Front 18-20lbs.

Rear 28-30lbs or more in the rear if under really heavy load.

2. What effect does tyre pressure have on the Scooter

Front: Under inflated makes the front end heavy to turn the handlebars.

Front: Over inflated may give a hard feel from the front ends suspension. An over inflated front tyre will lose its footprint and will not have enough grip on cornering.

Rear: Under inflated makes the back end loose and squirm around on corners.

Rear: Over inflated will lose the tyres footprint and grip and will wear the center line of the tyre on a long straight run.
